Project Description

Sample room for India’s leading manufacturer and exporters of Yarns, Fabrics, Threads, Fibre and garments. The 1000 sqft area is built to display samples from yarns to hanks, fibre samples to swatches of cloths, threads to wool for all their current and prospective customers. A conference room and a small office for the design team is also a part of the programme.

The design philosophy is kept simple by focussing on the main product of the group i.e. the yarns. All the lines converge in a single point perspective. Two big side displays, the ceiling and the flooring lines accentuate the strong lines of the concept. Display is also done in form of wool clouds, fibre samples in inverted beakers, sliders for folders and mannequins for the garment samples.

The side office and workstations are done in a minimalistic way to not to confront with the strong and colourful interiors of the main display area. Colour palette is in dark grey and light brown with abundance of light which helps in concentration on samples one at a time.
